The HRD Corp portal is comprehensive, but it is written for compliance, not for busy HR managers trying to figure out whether their next AI training engagement will actually be reimbursable. We kept getting the same questions from clients — the same ones, repeatedly, from people who would have benefited from a single friendly explainer — so we wrote one.

The corporate AI training arm of the company operates as trainhrdf.com.my. That is where the actual course catalogue lives, and where you book.

We are not affiliated with HRD Corp. We do not speak for them, and we cannot make binding commitments on their behalf. The authoritative source for anything you read on this site is hrdcorp.gov.my. When the two disagree, HRD Corp is right and we are out of date — let us know and we will fix it.

How accurate is the information here?

We try to be careful. The specific figures — claim percentages, ceilings, levy rates — change periodically as HRD Corp updates its schemes. We caveat anything that is sensitive to those changes, and we encourage you to verify against the official portal before relying on a figure for a real claim. The structural information (the five-step process, which scheme to use, what to file when) is more stable and is the part we have most invested in keeping current.

Why is it free?

We benefit when companies in Malaysia treat AI training as a budgeted, ordinary part of operations rather than an extraordinary cost. A friendlier explanation of HRD Corp helps that, and most of the people we hope to reach with this site are people we cannot yet reach with our paid courses.
